Special Events and Showings

On Friday evening at 7:00 in Reunion Hall Tanna Frederick stars in the Rough Cut viewing of two works in progress, "Always...but not forever," a film by Ron Vignone of a play by Henry Jaglom, and "Irene in Time," directed by Henry Jaglom. Discussion with the audience and Ms. Frederick, Mr. Jaglom, and Ron Vignone will follow. Festival or Day Pass required.

The Awards Gala at 8 PM in Reunion Hall on Saturday Night. Hollywood Dress-up encouraged. Live music, hors d oeuvres, and cash bar. Festival or Gala Pass ($10) required.

SPECIAL SHOWINGS:

“Haunting Villisca” To be shown Saturday afternoon at 3:00 in Reunion Hall.

“The Last Wright” To be shown 1:00 pm on Saturday at the MacNider Museum.

“King Corn” To be shown Sunday afternoon in Reunion Hall at 2:00.

“Lost Nation: The Ioway” To be shown Friday at 2:00 in Reunion Hall.

“Phyllis and Harold” To be shown Saturday at 6:00 in Reunion Hall.

SPECIAL DISCUSSIONS:

Making The Documentary Film: The makers of some of our outstanding docs explain how they did it. Saturday morning at 11:00 at the MacNider Museum.

Acting: A Workshop with Henry Jaglom, Andre Gregory and Friends: Friday afternoon at 4:00 in the Mason City Community Theatre.

FILMMAKERS Q and A: Immediately after each screening when filmmakers are present.
